3 voice students accepted into Franco American Vocal Academy

Two additional vocal music were accepted into the Franco American Vocal Academy summer program –  Trey Meyer, and Michael Bader. We had previously reported that a third, Katy Milton, has been accepted as well.

This is a 6-week program with three weeks in Paris and three weeks in Perigord, France.  Students receive coaching in French and French art songs.  They also sing a role in an opera and spend time in France experiencing the culture.

All three  will work with some of the finest and most well-connected operatic conductors and coaches in the industry according to David Reynolds, head and professor, SDSU Department of Music.

The academy is an intensive study program designed for emerging, talented singers who seek a professional career in opera, operetta, concert or who seek experience and knowledge as future voice teachers. The program is open to all nationalities.
