Communication Studies & Theatre faculty hires

Three new faculty members were inadvertently omitted in the new faculty story published in the February 2013 edition of Transformations newsletter.  While all three will be featured in the next published edition, a brief preview follows:

Dr. Jennifer Anderson, assistant professor, teaches courses in communication and conduct research on health communication and persuasive health campaigns. She earned her doctorate in communication from Michigan State University and master’s in mass communication from Miami University of Ohio.

Andrea Carlile, instructor and director of forensics, coaches competitive collegiate speech and debate and teaches Fundamentals of Speech, Oral Interpretation and Interviewing. She earned her master’s in speech communication from South Dakota State University.

William (Jim) Wood is an assistant professor whose areas of scholarship and teaching include acting, directing, dialects, stage combat and musical theatre. He earned his master of fine arts degree in directing from Minnesota State University in Mankato.
