Leda Cempellin to present paper at SECAC

Leda Cempellin, art historian in the Department of Visual Arts, has been accepted to present a paper “Daniel Spoerri’s localisms and the rise of the network society in late Modernism” in the session Artworks + Networks: Materializing Connectivity in Art Historical Research at the 70th Annual Southeastern College Art Conference (SECAC) in Sarasota, Florida, on Oct. 8-11, 2014.  SECAC proudly claims to be the second largest national organization for the visual arts and art history, and is affiliated to the top organization, the College Art Association (CAA). Currently, Dr. Cempellin is serving in the CAA’s Education Committee.
